The new, highly energy-efficient building was developed by Prologis in accordance with the customer’s workflow and specific requirements, to enable it to offer tailor-made services to its own customers. The logistics hub comprises a Class A building over 29,600 square metres with storage structures including cold rooms in which the temperatures can be controlled independently from -27 to +8 degrees Celsius, depending on the type of product, along with 2,100 square metres of offices. The frozen foods section occupies 11,700 square metres, while the remaining 10,500 square metres is allocated to fresh fruit and vegetables.

In the non-refrigerated areas, the beam height is 12 metres, making it possible to store more pallets than in a standard 10-metre-high structure. The beam height is also above 10 metres in the cold rooms. The fresh products section has capacity for 31,000 standard pallets. The storage areas are highly flexible and can be easily reconfigured to meet the needs of new customers or respond to new business opportunities.

Prologis took a sustainable approach in developing this building. To reduce the carbon footprint of the logistics activities and with a view to obtaining LEED Gold certification, the cold rooms have LED lighting and solar panels have been installed on top of the office units.
