Prologis Strengthens its Presence in Rome

Prologis continues to pursue its growth strategy in Italy with the acquisition of a new building which will extend the Prologis Park Roma Tiburtina.

The 9,500 m² property called DC6 is currently leased to a leading beverage distribution firm in the Horeca sector.

This acquisition strengthens Prologis’s presence in the eastern area of Rome where it currently owned six buildings for a total of 60,000 m². The park is in a key location for logistics activities, close to both the Great Ring Road and the urban section of the A24 Motorway.

The transaction also reinforces Prologis’s visibility in central Italy and, in particular, in the Greater Rome area where the company owned three logistics parks: to the south on the Rome-Naples motorway with Prologis Park Anagni, north in Fiano Romano along the A1 motorway and to the east with Roma Tiburtina.
