The building was constructed using sustainable technologies with a “very good” BREEAM rating, and has lamella wood jointless flooring. This enabled the construction of a single column-free bay, 42 metres deep, providing a vast 7,200 square metre cross-dock area with a beam height of 7.5 metres, which makes it very easy to move goods around. In addition to the logistics and distribution area, there is a further 3,500 square metres for goods storage, with a maximum beam height of 12 metres. The building is also equipped with a rainwater recovery system.
Lastly, there are 90 dock doors and a 22,000 square metre external service area, plus a spacious 40-metre-wide vehicle manoeuvring area. Outside this area, Prologis has built a car park reserved for employees and visitors with 146 spaces, and a second 3,100 parking area for up to 20 trucks. Green spaces have been created in the area around the building.
